Gradings

The ATI graduations occur every 3 months. Students are tip tested in weeks 10 and 11 and, if passed, must attend graduation to perform their syllabus skills in front of the EXAMINERS and parents etc. Then they are awarded their new grade and belt or stripe.

All tip test/graduation skills and techniques (for TKD program) are available on DVD for home practice and reference. This is ordered on graduation form so you will receive the next DVD for your belt level at the Graduation.

If you pass your tip test and you have an A or B attendance rating, then you may graduate on the Grading Day. These dates are in ATI newsletters which is available online (click here).

If you miss your graduation at any of the ATI schools in grading week then you must wait till next round of graduations.

Parents must read and sign graduation application forms and clearly PRINT students name on the form. No forms will be accepted on the graduation day! (with exception of white belts who are still learning our rules).

Students are required to have full safety gear to participate in graduations. No jewelry at all unless taped up and covered, may be worn in training and Graduation classes.

No forms will be accepted unless complete with the graduation fee. Dan gradings must have all info, photos, written assignments, belt embroidery orders etc. handed in one week before Dan Grading date.

Members attending Dan Graduations have the choice to supply and break their own pine boards as an alternative to the plastic re-breakable boards supplied by ATI.
Dimensions: dressed pine boards 270mm x 270mm x 19mm.
